How to set up IPTV on an iPhone or iPad

On iOS all you need is an App Store player that accepts Xtream Codes. Setup takes about five minutes, and you can send the picture to a television with AirPlay.

Step by step

    Install the player from the App Store

    Search for "IPTV Smarters Pro" or "GSE Smart IPTV" and install it. Both are free.

    Choose the Xtream Codes login

    On the first screen choose "Login with Xtream Codes API". In GSE the option is under Remote Playlists → Add Xtream Codes API.

    Enter your credentials

    Name the profile, then fill in the server URL, username and password we sent you on WhatsApp.

    Wait for the first sync

    The app downloads the channel list and the library. On Wi-Fi that is usually under a minute.

    Send it to the television if you want

    With an Apple TV or a compatible set, use the AirPlay icon inside the player rather than system screen mirroring: the picture goes out at native resolution and uses less battery.

Worth knowing

To watch on a television over AirPlay, use an app that supports it natively: some players block video output and only mirror the screen, which costs you quality.
