How to set up IPTV on an Amazon Firestick or Fire TV
The Firestick is the cheapest way to turn any television into an IPTV receiver. It allows apps from outside the store, so you can use IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate directly with an Xtream Codes login.

Step by step
-
1
Allow apps from outside the store
Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options and turn on "Install unknown apps". On newer models the option sits under "Applications".
-
2
Install Downloader
Search the Amazon store for "Downloader" and install it. It is a browser and download manager, and it is how APK files get installed.
-
3
Download the player
Open Downloader, type the player download address we gave you, and accept the install when the download finishes.
-
4
Open the app and choose the Xtream login
On the first screen choose "Login with Xtream Codes API" rather than loading a playlist file: the app then loads categories on demand and keeps the guide current.
-
5
Enter your details
Give the profile any name, then enter the server URL, username and password we sent. Type them rather than pasting: a trailing space is the single most common cause of a failed login.
-
6
Wait out the first load
The app downloads the full line-up and library. On a basic Firestick that can take two or three minutes the first time.
-
7
Set the picture format
If the picture is cropped or letterboxed, change the output format in the player settings and check the Firestick resolution is set to 1080p or 4K to match your television.
