BestIPTV frequently asked questions

BestIPTV is an IPTV subscription service that streams over 45,000 live channels and 100,000 on-demand titles over your internet connection, in quality up to 4K, to any device running a compatible player app. Below are the questions we are asked most, grouped by topic.

The basics

What the service is, what you need to use it, and what it includes.

What exactly is BestIPTV?

It is a television subscription delivered over the internet. We give you a login (server URL, username and password) that you enter into a player app on your television, phone or computer, and from then on you have over 45,000 live channels and 100,000 films and series on demand, with a full programme guide. There is no dish to install, no extra router and no hardware to buy.

Do I need special hardware?

No. It works on what you already own: Samsung and LG Smart TVs, Amazon Firestick, any Android TV, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Windows, Mac, MAG boxes and Enigma2 receivers. The only requirement is an app that accepts an M3U playlist or an Xtream Codes login, and nearly all of them do.

How much internet speed do I need?

15 Mbps of steady bandwidth for HD, 20 for Full HD and 25 for 4K, per simultaneous stream. Stability matters more than the headline figure: a 600 Mbps line over congested Wi-Fi drops more than a 100 Mbps line over a cable. Use a wired connection where you can.

Can I try it before paying?

Yes. Message us on WhatsApp and we will send free 24-hour credentials with the complete line-up, with no card and no sign-up. Test it on your own television, on your own connection, on the channels you actually watch, before deciding.

How many people can watch at the same time?

As many as your plan has connections, from one to four. Each connection is one simultaneous stream, so with two connections two people watch different channels at the same time. You can install the subscription on as many devices as you like: the limit is how many play at once, not how many are set up.

Is there a contract or an automatic renewal?

Neither. You pay for the period you choose and it ends there. We hold no card details, there is no direct debit and nothing renews by itself: when the end approaches we message you on WhatsApp and you renew if you want to.

Pricing and payment

How to order, how to pay, and what happens at the end of the period.

How do I pay?

The whole order is handled on WhatsApp. You pick a plan on the site, the button opens the chat with the details already written, and we reply with the payment methods available in your country and the exact amount. There is no payment gateway on the site and we never ask for card details over chat.

Why is there no card checkout on the site?

Because we would rather not hold payment data at all. Keeping the payment off the website means our servers never see a card number, and you pay by whatever method you already use. The trade-off is that an order takes a few minutes longer than a buy button, and in exchange a person confirms the amount before you send anything.

How long does activation take?

Minutes. As soon as we confirm the payment we create the line and send the server URL, username and password in the same chat, along with the guide for whichever device you mention. Inside support hours it is close to immediate; overnight it can take longer.

How is the saving on longer plans calculated?

We start from an undiscounted rate of $12.61 per screen per month. The crossed-out price on each card is that rate times the months times the screens, and the percentage is what you save against it. The longer the plan and the more screens, the bigger the discount, because we are paid up front.

Can I change plan or add screens partway through?

Yes. To add a screen you pay the difference pro-rated against the time remaining; it applies to the same line and nothing needs reinstalling on your devices. Message us and we will tell you the exact amount.

Do you give refunds?

There is a free trial precisely so that you never need to ask for one. If the service does not work after you have subscribed because of a problem at our end, and we cannot resolve it, we consider a refund case by case under the refund policy. We do not refund a change of mind, or the absence of one particular channel you did not ask about before ordering.

Do you issue invoices?

We will send a payment receipt in the same chat if you ask for one. This is a domestic consumer service, not a business contract.

Setup

The problems that come up most when configuring a new device.

The app rejects my login

Check the server URL includes the port if it has one (for example http://server.com:8080) and type the username and password by hand rather than pasting them: a trailing space is the single most common cause. If it still fails, message us and we will confirm the line is active from our side.

The channel list is empty after I log in

The first load pulls the entire line-up and on older hardware that can take two or three minutes. Let it finish rather than restarting the app. If it is still empty after five minutes, force-close the app and reopen it.

Channels play but the guide is blank

The guide (EPG) is fetched separately from the channels and fills in afterwards. Force a guide refresh in the player settings and check the app time zone matches your own: a wrong time zone is what produces a guide that is correct but offset by hours.

Can I install it on several devices?

Yes, on as many as you like, with the same credentials. The limit is how many play at the same time, which is the connection count on your plan. Set it up on the living room television, the bedroom one and your phone without any problem.

Do I need a VPN?

We do not require one for the service to work. Some internet providers throttle or block third-party streaming traffic, and a VPN solves that where it happens, but it adds latency and can cost you quality. Try it without one first.

Day to day and support

Dropouts, recording, support hours and renewals.

A channel drops or keeps buffering

Try another channel first: if only one is affected, it is that channel source and we fix it on the server once you tell us. If they all stutter, it is usually the connection or the Wi-Fi. Send us the exact channel name and the time and we will look at it.

What happens if a server goes down?

There are several servers with automatic failover: if one fails, your line moves to another with nothing for you to change. If the service is interrupted for more than a few hours through our fault anyway, we make up the lost time by extending your subscription.

Can I record programmes?

That depends on the player, not on us. TiviMate Premium and OTT Navigator record to the device storage, and many players can pause live television. We serve the stream and the guide; the recording is done by the app.

What are your support hours?

We answer on WhatsApp every day, with broad cover across European hours and slower replies overnight. Messages from customers whose service is down take priority over sales enquiries.

What happens when my subscription ends?

The line stops working and the app shows a login error. Nothing renews by itself. We message you a few days before on WhatsApp and, if you renew, the same credentials are reactivated: nothing has to be reinstalled or reconfigured.
