How to add IPTV to an Enigma2 receiver
On Enigma2 the IPTV channels are added as another favourites bouquet, alongside the satellite ones. You need web or SSH access to the box, and this is the most technical setup of the lot.

Step by step
-
1
Open the receiver web interface
Type the receiver IP address into a browser on a computer on the same network. The IP is under Menu → Information → Network.
-
2
Install the IPTV Bouquet Maker plugin
From Menu → Plugins → Download plugins, in the Extensions section. If it is not listed, install it over SSH with the command your image documents.
-
3
Add the M3U URL
Open the plugin, choose "Add M3U URL" and paste the URL we sent. The plugin converts the playlist into Enigma2 bouquets.
-
4
Choose which categories to import
Do not import all 45,000 channels: an Enigma2 box slows to a crawl on huge bouquets. Select Spain, sport and the two or three regions you will actually watch.
-
5
Build the bouquets and reload
Confirm, and the plugin reloads the services. When it finishes, the new bouquets appear on the blue button or in the favourites menu.
-
6
Add the programme guide
Install EPG Importer and add the XMLTV source that came with your credentials. Schedule the import for the early hours so it never collides with a recording.
